Robert is the President and Founder of Better-Built Contractors, Inc. After seven years in the banking and insurance industries, he moved to the home construction business and has been in the remodeling industry since 1990. Robert also offers more than 20 years of experience in roofing and siding. Robert has developed a special talent for integrating new products and technology with proven building practices, giving homeowners the very best value for their home remodeling projects.
Robert received a BBA degree from Baylor University in finance and economics and he holds many industry certifications, including NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) Certified Remodeler. He is a former vice president of the Dallas NARI chapter and has served as a Dallas NARI board member for three years.

Penny Guice
Co-owner/Office Manager

Penny brings more than 15 years of corporate marketing and business administration and an associate degree to Better-Built Contractors. She handles all of all the invoicing and warranty information, making sure that each client gets personal attention.
Penny also manages marketing, personnel and much of the day-to-day administrative operations for Better-Built, including scheduling of customer appointments.

Todd Giese
Sales and Project Management/Roofing, Windows and Hardie Siding

Todd understands both construction and real estate - he has been a licensed Realtor in the state of Texas for more than 25 years and offers nearly 20 years of experience in the roofing business. Todd's expertise also includes extensive experience (15+ years) with James Hardie products and a number of window manufacturers.
Todd is our "go-to" guy for product and installation knowledge, and he brings value to each homeowner. In addition to his years of hands-on experience, Todd also holds an associates degree from Western Texas College.

Alan Buck
Project Manager

Better-Built Contractors works as a team, and Alan is one of our most valuable team members. Alan oversees materials delivery and manages the workers at each site. He makes sure that each job site provides a clean and safe working environment and that the client's property is protected and respected at all times.

Pablo Vasquez
Hardie Installation Team Lead

Pablo and his crew have worked for Better-Built for over 12 years. He and his crew are trained installers for James Hardie Siding Products and specialize in ColorPlus. They are also cross trained in framing and roofing as well.

Jorge O'Campo
Painting Team Lead

Jorge, Emilio, Antonio and Danny will put the finishing touches on most of our remodeling projects. When it comes to ColorPlus touch-up and caulking, exterior and interior paint, drywall and texture, these men will approach your project with competence and a smile.

Jody Lee

Carpentry Lead

We're proud to include Jody Lee and his craftsmen on the Better-Built team. Jody is a master craftsman currently working with two additional professional craftsmen - Joshua Lee and Casey Reeves. Joshua and Casey provide a combined 18 years experience to our team. Our custom work is handcrafted, stained or painted, and finished. With Jody's expertise, we offer the very best in kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, linen towers, toilet toppers, home theater entertainment centers, bookcases, mantles, custom trim work, and small to intermediate furniture. Jody and his craftsmen focus on creating a quality product with their customer's tastes and needs incorporated into each product. When Better Built Contractors installs your custom handmade, pre-finished cabinetry, you can also rest assured that your home will be left as clean as before the project began.
